Olympic 200m champion Letsile Tebogo (Botswana) and NCAA 200m silver medallist Makanakaishe Charamba (Zimbabwe) will face off with Olympic 100m champion Noah Lyles (USA) at the Wanda Diamond League meeting in Monaco on Friday July 11, 2025.
Kentucky’s Tapiwanashe Carlie Makarawu led a Zimbabwean 1-2 finish in the men’s 200m final at the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Oregon.
Tapiwanashe Makarawu (Kentucky) equalled the Zimbabwean record to win the men’s 200m title in 20.13 ahead of compatriot Makanakaishe Charamba (Auburn), who finished second in 20.16, at the 2025 NCAA D1 Indoor Championships in Virginia.
