Marseille-Cassis 20km, Marseille

This year the Classique Internationale Marseille-Cassis changes and becomes Marseille-Cassis 20 km, bringing together 15,000 passionate runners. The race wll take place on October 28, 2012 leaving the Marseille football stadium to link the port of Cassis for the 34th time (since 1979).

The course taken by runners produces a unique race federating participants who came from all environments, from all the country and from abroad with international top athletes. Runners will go through the “Calanques” wich is a unique and protected natural environment near the sea.

Along the race thousands of spectators come in order to support runners during this big event. The race is internationally recognized by the IAAF thanks to the “Silver Label Road Race” and is also getting media attention with the presence of many journalists and more than 3 hours and a half of live television.

Solidarity, surpassing oneself, friendliness and sharing are the most important values of this event thanks to many volunteers, faithful partners and passionate organizers which work hard in order to produce one of the best running event in France.
