Members of Qatar’s Girls’ National team spent part of Wednesday afternoon meeting with international sprint stars at Doha’s landmark Museum of Islamic Art.

2015 World championships 100m bronze medallist Tori Bowie of the U.S., World 200m champion Dafne Schippers of the Netherlands and two-time Olympic 200m champion Veronica Campbell-Brown will clash in the women’s 100m race on Friday night at the Qatar Sports Club.

The Doha Diamond League marks the kick-off of the 2016 IAAF Diamond League series of competition.

On Wednesday they met for a more light-hearted gathering with nearly two dozen of Qatar’s best young athletes.
