The WYC 2009 is live on TV

The World Youth Championships 2009 will be broadcast comprehensively live on TV.

Rai Sport Più (accessible on Astra satellite) and Eurosport will report 14 hours live from Bressanone/Brixen and supplement it with delayed daily summaries.

A total of 30 hours reporting on the WYC is planned. Competitions begin on Wednesday at 9:30 am. There are 40 medal events on the programme.

According to the Italian athletics federation FIDAL Rai Sport Più has set the following TV Schedule:

July 8th: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm (live), 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm (delayed)
July 9th: 10:00 am to 12:30 pm (live), 8:15 pm to 10:00 pm (delayed)
July 10th: 10:00 am to 12:00 noon (live), midnight to 2:00 am (delayed)
July 11th: 10:00 am to 12:00 am (live), 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm (delayed)
July 12th: 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm (delayed)

Eurosport is also reporting live from Bressanone/Brixen. The preliminary schedule of Europe's pre-eminent sport TV platform is as follows:

July 9th: 12:00 noon to 1:15 pm (delayed), 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm (live)
July 10th: 11:00 am to 12:45 pm (delayed), 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm (live)
