The 16th African Championships in Athletics will be held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from April 30th to May 4th, 2008.
It will be hosted at the Addis Ababa Stadium located at the heart of Addis Ababa a walking distance from the Leghar train station and the Ministry of Youth and Sports head office and approximately 7kms from the Bole International Airport.
The stadium consists of six designated sections, three of which are roofed. The Grand Tribune, which hosts officials, dignitaries, and high-end ticket holders, is equipped with secured parking facilities, WCs, and relatively-comfortable seating arrangement.
